First Congregational Church was founded 150 years ago. Our first pastor was the Rev. Edwin Alden (of "Little House on the Prairie" fame).

Making A Difference

At First Congregational Church, we are dedicated to keeping our congregation as a family. We get together as a group several times a year to share meals and stories. Fellowship helps keep our congregation healthy..

Ladies Friendly Annual Salad Luncheon

Friday, May 3rd

11:00am - 1:00pm

The Ladies Friendly annual Salad Luncheon is the major fund -raising effort by our ladies group. Proceeds are used for a number of church functions including missions, youth activities and mission trips. This year the ladies plan to raffle off a hand-made quilt.  Chances are $1.00 and can be ordered on-line in our shop by clicking this link..

Volunteer Opportunities

Our congregation participates in a Sunday bus service that helps get shut-ins, the elderly and those without transportation a way to get to church services. This a community wide service. We volunteer as bus hosts.

At First Congregational Church, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Fundraising is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
